HMR prepared a Preservation Plan for the repair and restoration of this historic 1883 brick water tower designed by Frederick Clarke Withers. The plan included complete measured drawings, structural analysis, and proposals for future use, code compliance and public access. Exterior restoration included restoration of the slate roof with copper hip molds, the repair and replacement of the wood windows, masonry cleaning, repair and repointing.
