The Sussex County Old Courthouse is a beloved local icon looking out over the town square in Newton, NJ. Holt Morgan Russell Architects was retained by the county of Sussex for the complete rehabilitation of the interior and exterior of this 1847 Greek Revival structure. Exterior work included careful hands-on investigation and documentation of all exterior conditions, resulting in Construction Documents for the complete restoration of the building exterior. Exterior repairs and roof replacement have been completed. A complete rehabilitation of the interior has been completed.
