SACRED HEART CHURCH
TRENTON, NEW JERSEY

This historic church in the heart of Trenton was in need of restoration and modernization. Primary to the preservation of this important historic structure was the investigation of the present conditions. Special consideration was given to the preservation of the irreplaceable fresco paintings found on the ceilings and upper walls. Mechanical and electrical systems were analyzed and recommendations made for improvements. Based on the recommendations, work on the exterior and the ventilation system was completed. This site received funding from the New Jersey Historic Trust.
