MEAD HALL/DREW UNIVERSITY MADISON, NEW JERSEY
HMR provided complete Architectural Services for several phases of restoration work at Mead Hall, the historic centerpiece of the Drew University campus. HMR prepared a report concerning Mead Hall’s front brownstone steps and portico, which developed into construction documents. The steps and portico floor were restored in 2005. Work was expanded into new site pavement improvements which redefined vehicle traffic, improved pedestrian safety, and enhanced the building’s front facade and its natural landscape setting.
