HARTLEY DODGE MEMORIAL BUILDING
MADISON, NEW JERSEY
HMR undertook a study of all Borough-owned buildings to determine the municipal space needs and building utilization for the next 25-50 years. The resulting study recommended interior alterations to the historic Hartley Dodge Memorial Building to accommodate new court and municipal meeting facilities without change to the exterior.
The interior work includes the design of a new courtroom/meeting room at a renovated location within the existing building, the renovation of the existing council meeting room, the addition of new offices and renovations of existing offices and the installation of a new elevator for accessible travel throughout the building.
