CATHEDRAL OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY

This cathedral, constructed between 1864 and 1866 and designed by noted Newark architect Jeremiah O’Rourke, is a fine example of Gothic Revival style. HMR completed the stained glass and wood frame restoration of the altar window in April 2006. Current exterior restoration includes brownstone repair and replacement, selective stained glass restoration, wood window painting and new protective window screens. This project received funding from the New Jersey Historic Trust.
